First Post - Job-Seeker's Journey

Hello World! I have finally decided to enter the blog world and share with you all my journey as a job searcher hence the title "Job-Seeker's Journey." Why am I looking for work you ask? Well, I recently completed an intensive MBA program and had the opportunity to work as an intern for a PR firm and a contract term at another company subsequently. After my contract ended in March 2010 (unfortunately there was no further opportunity available at the company) , I have been out on the job market seeking work. This has been the most challenging, frustrating, and depressing time of my life however, I am not giving up. I have realized I need to look outside of the box and perhaps the city I reside (in Canada) and see how and where I can leverage my education and experience towards landing a job and ultimately developing a satisfying career. The purpose of the blog is to share my learnings, failures and successes during this journey. There is alot I have learned already and lot still TO learn.
